Hard drive prices are up!

Well, it looks like the flooding in Thailand and the impact on hard drive productions in that country has had an impact on hard drive prices. Hard drives that were $50 last week are $110 dollars this week with restriction on the numbers you can purchase.

Just buyer beware and hope you don’t need an emergency replacement during this shortage. You may down a bit longer and the price is going to be higher.

I hope this doesn’t come as a shock to anyone. But I found it interesting that the big providers have such disparity in protocol/policy.

Expectation of privacy should always be zero.
