Email Remorse…
Man… I hate email remorse. Have you ever sent an email and right as you pressed the send button, you notice an aweful typo or worse? What do you do?
Well I’ve been doing email for a long time… written policy for its use, been asked to write up best practices and etiquette recommendations, protocol, procedures and such. Boy did I mess up last night. I sent email regarding Microsoft’s update last night and had broken up a mass email into several groups of recipients. On one of emails, I placed the addresses into the CC instead of BCC. I noticed this oversight as I was pressing send… “OH NO!” I shouted. But it was too late, I had already received some “Out of the Office” messages and there was nothing in the outbox. Oh well… I think everyone plays nicely that I have in my email lists.
Please accept my apologies. Anyway, I’ll eat my humble pie and try to enjoy it!
