Laptop Service? Bring The Power Adapter!
Please note:
If you bring your laptop in for service, we always require you bring the power adapter you’ve been using. This is not to be mean, or pick on you or to ruin your day. We’ve found over the years that adapter problems can cause surprising and unexpected symptoms. Also, we’ve found people using aquarium pump adapters, phone adapters and adapters meant for other devices being used incorrectly.
Again, I apologize to the person who got irritated at this policy (and us) today and reiterate, if you bring in a laptop for service, please bring the power adapter you’ve been using with it.
